Per a report from News 4 San Antonio, a woman who was months into her new position decided to flash the double-bird. While posing for photos with inmates at the facility where she was working. In additional photos, she can be holding up the peace sign. And sticking out her tongue, while the other inmates pose in a glass window that is behind her.

Deputy Axed After Photos With Inmates Go Viral

The deputy, an 18-year-old female named Karla Beltran, was axed from her position with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office in Texas. She posted the photos on her social media account, and they quickly went viral. And once the photos made their way to the Sheriff's Office, she was terminated from her position.

Of course, the photos quickly went viral on social media. This led to a lot of reactions from users.

" I just know them inmates are laughing at her dumba** losing her job," one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"They gotta raise the age requirement to at least 25. Somebody that just had prom a few months ago has no business overseeing prisoners," a second user chimed in.

In a statement to the outlet, a rep for the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said that Beltran will not face any criminal charges. However, there is an ongoing investigation surrounding the incident.

"Deputy Karla Beltran, an 18-year-old female, had less than a year of employment with the BCSO as a detention deputy and was terminated under probationary dismissal," the statement reads. "Regarding the pictures, how they were taken, by whom, and where they were posted is being investigated. There are no criminal charges pending at this time in relation to this incident."

At the time of writing, Beltran has not released a statement about the incident.
