The 54-year-old was arrested in New York City on Oct. 11 after allegedly assaulting multiple people on a Delta Airlines flight. However, just days later, the organizers of "90s Con" proudly declared that the Hellboy actress would be attending their upcoming event.
"Selma Blair will be joining us at 90s Con as planned. See you there!" That's4Entertainment, the con's organizer, wrote on its Instagram Story, per PEOPLE.
Blair, who appeared as Vivian Kensington in 2001's Legally Blonde, was already set to attend the convention before her arrest. The veteran actress will give fans a chance to nab autographs, selfies, and professional photos with her during the event at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, which runs from Friday through Sunday.
According to PEOPLE, she'll also be part of a Q&A panel at the convention. Presumably, a few touchy subjects may be off the table...
Of course, a 90s convention is fitting for Blair. Her breakout role was alongside her Legally Blonde co-star, Reese Witherspoon, in 1999's Cruel Intentions. Per IMDb, she also popped up in '90s favorites like Can't Hardly Wait and The Adventures of Pete and Pete on Nickelodeon.
Selma Blair was Released on Bail Following Her Arrest Earlier This Week
The star reportedly attempted to open the plane's door while in flight, leading to her arrest earlier this week. Blair allegedly punched one attendant and bit another who tried to stop her before things were brought under control.
The actress later appeared in court on Oct. 12, facing two counts of assault, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. Blair was released on bail that evening.
Her attorney, Shawn Barnes, later offered an explanation for the reported incident.
"This was not an intentional assault," Barnes told The New York Post. "Ms. Blair missed several doses of... a powerful medication that controls severe neurological symptoms. Ms. Blair boarded this flight after being on set and working extensive hours and exhaustive hours in the days leading up to this flight."
"Additionally, at one point during the flight, there was an incident where Ms. Blair actually fell and hit her head," Barnes added. "These factors, coupled with the altitude, resulted in a state of severe confusion and disorientation."
Meanwhile, Blair may reportedly face state and federal charges related to the incident.
