Proving he's no arbiter of good taste, President Donald Trump posted footage of a man fatally attacked by a tiger, followed by an AI-generated video of himself dominating the animal and making it his friend.

Over the weekend, 23-year-old William Chapman was mauled to death by a Siberian tiger after entering a zoo's tiger enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster, England. Reportedly, he was seen "praying" and "bowing" to the animal before the attack was underway.
Footage of the horrific incident was shared widely on social media. This included reality TV personality turned president of the United States, Donald Trump.
"Don't ever mess with nature!" the 80-year-old told followers on Truth Social alongside the gruesome footage on Oct. 13.
While the president of the United States needlessly sharing footage of a possibly mentally disturbed man being mauled to death by a 420-pound tiger might already seem in poor taste to any reasonable person, the former The Apprentice star raised the level of tactlessness.
Trump Posts AI Video of Himself Wrestling Tiger Following Family Pleas to Stop Sharing Footage
Just hours later, Trump returned to Truth Social to unleash an AI-generated video. Despite his previous warning not to mess with nature, the father of five posted a clip of himself gleefully wrestling the tiger in a setting similar to that of the real, horrific footage.
The clip portrays Trump as more spry than he's ever been in his life, playfully tackling the tiger. The AI footage also depicts the tiger and the politician embracing as they grin.
In a coup de grâce of class, the footage was set to "The Lion Sleeps Tonight."
Meanwhile, Chapman's family had already pleaded with folks not to share the footage after Trump initially shared it.
"The publication and circulation of deeply offensive media content is causing ... severe distress at an exceptionally vulnerable time. We ask people to stop doing this," Chapman's family wrote in a statement shared with British media outlets.
As of this writing, Trump has yet to weigh in on the incident beyond his two social media posts.
The tiger at the center of the incident, Altai, will not be euthanized, according to park officials.
