Music legend Dionne Warwick has been forced to cancel her appearance at the Carnegie Hall. As reported by Page Six, this comes after her mobility issues left her unable to walk.
She shared a statement explaining what happened to the outlet. "I'm sorry to have had to cancel the chance to see you all at Carnegie," Warwick explained. The 85-year-old continued, "My leg and foot would not allow me to stand nor walk at the moment."
"Due to the pain, I just couldn't do anything other than cancel my appearance this time, as I focus on rest and recovering from it." The music legend asked for "understanding and grace" - "only the pain and inability to stand or walk is the reason for my absence."
Her appearance at the Carnegie Hall was for the Deborah Silver & Fabulous Friends: Voices for ALS charity benefit. Luckily, Silver ended up calling in cabaret icon Marilyn Maye to fill in for Warwick.
She took the stage alongside father and daughter Jon and Mikaela Secada, as well as jazz singer Stella Cole.

This Comes After the Music Legend Had Surgery on Her Leg
This comes after Dionne Warwick was forced to have leg surgery back in 2025. As reported by E!News, she took to social media at the time to announce that she was recovering.
"As most of you may know, I've had to cancel a few shows due to emergency leg surgery... I'm doing okay, do not worry!" She continued by asking for recommendations for films as well as TV shows for her to watch "while on the mend."
The music legend has a long and storied history of pain in her legs. In an Instagram story post in September 2025, she revealed she had to be "rushed" into surgery.
"The last thing I expected was to have surgery the day I was to fly to London," she revealed. "Pain was unbearable and my doctor rushed me into surgery thank goodness, as it could've resulted in something far worse."
We hope that Dionne Warwick recovers soon - and that she doesn't need another bout of surgery.
