Ella Langley cancelled her October 9 show in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The show was cancelled due to a "serious security threat", per Rolling Stone.
She announced the troubling news in a post on social media. "Due to a serious security threat involving the safety of my fans, the venue staff, and my team, the incredibly difficult decision was made to cancel tonight's show," she wrote.
The show, which was set to happen at the BOK Center, was cancelled just hours before doors were set to be open. She confirmed that "this decision was made under the advisement of local authorities, the venue, and my security team."
Her announcement continued with a heartfelt apology for her fans. She explained that she knows "how much time, travel, money and planning goes into coming to a show... and I can't tell you how sorry I am."
"This is not a decision that was made lightly," she continued. "I was so looking forward to spending tonight with you, but your safety will always mean more to me than anything else. I refuse to put anyone in harm's way," her announcement concluded.
Ella Langley also confirmed that information regarding ticket refunds "will be shared as soon as possible".

Police Said Someone Made a Serious Threat to the Ella Langley Show
Per NBC News, Tulsa police said on Friday night that "a call was made threatening the lives of people attending the event."
They took the threat seriously, having deployed their K-9s, bomb team, and patrols in tandem with venue security. They swept the building a total of two times, and "found no credible threat to the event's safety".
However, they decided to "cancel the performance anyway" just to err on the side of caution.
Tulsa police also apologized to any Ella Langley fans who "came down tonight". "We appreciate your patience," they added. "It is unfortunate that some nefarious characters successfully disrupted the event, ruining the evening for thousands of people". The situation remains under investigation.
If nothing else, we're glad that no-one was hurt. We hope that the rest of Ella Langley's tour isn't disrupted like this.
