Footage posted by TMZ shows the harrowing incident that went down while she was on stage at House of Blues in Orlando on Oct. 6. The video shows the 44-year-old singer belting out her hit "Breakaway" when she suddenly hit pause on the track. Reportedly, she noticed a female fan in the front row in distress.
"Hey, let's hold up a minute. Let's make sure she's okay," she says at one point in the footage.
Clarkson also pushed back at the rowdy crowd, who didn't seem to know the etiquette of a concert medical emergency.
"I don't know if making noise is helping this situation," the "Behind These Hazel Eyes" singer said.
As this plays out, the fan appears to get help making her way from her seat and down the aisle. The person helping out the fan then gives Clarkson a thumbs-up.
"You good? OK, cool," she shoots back before thanking the crowd.
Then, ever the professional, the American Idol OG keeps the show rolling.
"We'll pick it up at the second chorus," she tells her band, resuming the performance.
That said, Clarkson isn't currently on tour. Taste of Country speculated (citing social media comments) that the House of Blues in Orlando show was a corporate gig.
Kelly Clarkson Revealed Her Go-To Shower Song Earlier This Week...
Meanwhile, Kelly Clarkson had a fun revelation during her side gig as a coach on The Voice.
On the singing competition show's Oct. 5 episode, 24-year-old contestant Nina Howland belted out a tune that was unexpectedly perfect for Clarkson.
During Howland's rendition of Bonnie Raitt's "Love Me Like a Man," Clarkson was the first to turn her chair around. Howland shortly afterward joined the "Because of You" singer's team, per Entertainment Weekly.
"That's my song!" Clarkson gushed to Howland.
"You know people ask you, 'What do you sing in the shower'? That's the song I sing in the shower," Clarkson later added.
The Voice fans were also loving Howland's rendition of Clarkson's signature shower song...
"Love that we got a blues girl this season," one fan wrote in the comments section on The Voice's YouTube post of the performance. "I love her voice. It's sassy and powerful. I think she is one to watch," they added.
"She's one of the best singers EVER on the show!" a second fan added.
"Love that she didn't attempt to sound like Bonnie Raitt. She made it her own, and it was fantastic," a third fan chimed in.
