The beef started last year when Crockett criticized the "Own Worst Enemy" singer over his comments about Beyoncé's album Cowboy Carter. The outspoken Adcock fired back, and a feud was born.

Gavin Adcock and Charley Crockett Are Now "Friends"

Adcock posted two pictures of him and Crockett on Instagram on Tuesday, Oct. 6, showing what country music fans thought they would never see: the two artists laughing over a couple of beers.

"We might not always see eye to eye but that don't mean we can't drop our pride and bulls*** and be friends @charleycrockett," the caption read.

Crockett also posted a similar picture. The caption read, "The country music world's healing y'all @gavinadcockmusic."

Some fans called the pics AI. Another said that Crockett was "dumb" for hanging out with Adcock. But most users were happy to see the two stars finally getting along.

"The country is healing," one fan wrote.

Another added, "Didn't have this on my bingo card."

What Happened Between Crockett and Adcock?

The feud began last year when Adcock criticized Beyoncé, saying her Grammy Award-winning Cowboy Carter was not country music.

Crockett fired back on social media, saying it's artists like Beyoncé who bring "authenticity" to country music.

"Beyoncé ain't the source of your discontent. It was 25 years of bro country," he wrote. "The machine points to a black woman who's making a statement about marginalized people being removed from the conversation altogether, and somehow we all act like the entire pop industry didn't just ambush roots music."

"Outlaw as a subgenre of country was artists standing up for their rights against a rigid system," Crockett added. "Ain't no reason to imitate Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson if you ain't about the fight. Texas forever."

Adcock responded to Crockett, saying that "somebody needs to tell the 'act' that has let out (the cover) of ['Jamestown Ferry'] 6 times he should just work on letting out quality original music."

He then took a shot at Crockett.

"I got more cowsh** under my pinky than you have seen your whole f****n life," he added. "Hank Sr. called and asked about the cosplay cowboy."

Fans now have to be wondering if Adcock and Zach Bryan will ever be in the same room so the healing can truly begin. Same with Crockett and Jack White.
