The 36-year-old podcast host and TV personality recently took to Instagram to explain how special it is that her daughter River, born just last month to her and partner Will Lindsay, will be joining her upon her return to Good Morning Britain.
"I don't think I could have imagined more of a special place to be. Going back to Good Morning Britain this time felt completely different," she explained in the footage. "The last time I sat on that sofa, I was sharing one of the most heartbreaking parts of our story. Talking about Phoenix, about baby loss, about navigating grief that no parent should ever have to experience."
She added that she was thankful the morning show allowed her to share her experience dealing with the heartbreak of stillbirth, and that she hoped others dealing with the issue "feel less alone in their grief" after seeing the segment.
Her son, Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, was "born sleeping," she explained in an Instagram post last summer. Meanwhile, her pop-singer husband, Tom Parker, passed away in March 2022 after a battle with cancer, per PEOPLE.
"This time, I got to walk in the studio with my little rainbow baby in my arms. Our little River. She doesn't take away the pain or replace what we've lost," she added in her post. "Phoenix will always be a part of our family. But she has brought so much hope back into our lives. And sitting there with her after everything we have been through was one of the most amazing moments where I thought, 'Wow, look how far we've come.' My little River, already making her TV debut. A tiny girl carrying so much hope."
Tom Parker's Widow Kelsey Marks Baby Loss Awareness Week
"The 9th October marks the start of Baby Loss Awareness Week, and it's a week that will always mean so much to me," she added in the caption to the poignant post. "I will never stop talking about baby loss. I will never stop saying Phoenix's name. Because he existed, he matters and he will always be part of our family."
"So many families are carrying this same love and loss every single day, and the more we talk about it, the less alone someone else might feel."
"River will never replace Phoenix," the mom of three (Aurelia, 6, and Bodhi, 4, with her late husband) admitted. "She is her own beautiful little person and a new chapter in our story. But after everything we've been through, she has brought so much hope back into our lives."
"Let's keep talking, keep sharing, and keep saying their names. ?," she concluded. "For Phoenix. Always. ??"
