More information has come to light about the sudden death of Days of Our Lives favorite Robert Kelker-Kelly.

The 62-year-old was in the throes of a heart attack when first responders arrived at his home in Missouri on the evening of Oct. 3, according to Page Six.
"First responders and paramedics responded to a call ... for an adult male patient for a cardiac arrest," Division Chief and Public Information Officer for the St. Charles County Ambulance District (SSCAD) Kyle Gaines told the outlet.
"They were dispatched, where paramedics and first responders provided advanced life-saving protocol techniques," Gaines added. "Unfortunately, the patient was pronounced deceased on scene."
The St. Peters Police Department told TMZ on Oct. 5 that Kelker-Kelly, who famously played bad boy Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives in the 1990s, unconscious and not breathing when they arrived at his Missouri home. They added that first responders attempted life-saving measures at the scene, but they were fruitless. The department also noted that there was nothing suspicious at the scene of Kelker-Kelly's death.
Meanwhile, an official cause of death for the veteran actor hasn't been revealed.

Robert Kelker-Kelly was a familiar face for soap opera fans for decades. Though he didn't originate the role of Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives (taking over for actor Peter Reckell), his turn as the character captured the imagination of viewers, becoming his signature role.
He appeared as the motorcycle-riding desperado in over 600 episodes of the series from 1992 to 1995. Kelker-Kelly won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in 1994 for his turn as Brady. Fans and critics also loved his sizzling chemistry with co-star Lisa Rinna, who played Billie Reed on the long-running soap. Kelker-Kelly and Rinna were named Hottest Couple at the Soap Opera Digest Awards in 1995 as both actors moved on from Days of Our Lives to other ventures.

From there, he joined the cast of General Hospital in 2001. Kelker-Kelly went from bad boy to villainous prince as Stavros Cassadine during his time in Port Charles. He played the part as a regular through 2002, then returned as a recurring character in 2013 and 2014.
Married and divorced twice, Kelker-Kelly also enjoyed a career a professional pilot.
