However, Wynonna's relationship with Grace is still a work in progress. The two are believed to still be quite distant. The country star opened up about the whole situation during a recent interview with PEOPLE.

"I miss her," Wynonna said. "I miss her desperately, and I've missed out on a lot of years because of the drug addiction. I've spent half a million dollars on programs trying to do the right thing, trying to do the next right thing."

Half a million dollars is an eye-watering sum. But when it's your child, you'll do whatever it takes to help them, especially when it's such a dangerous form of addiction. As the interview continued, Wynonna spoke of the pain that she went through during this period, noting that it influenced some of her new songs.

"Meth is a b---h," she continued. "It's unlike anything I've ever experienced, and I just can't believe it. But these songs come from that dark place, deep and dark.... And you think you can't make it, but you somehow do by the grace of God."

Wynonna Judd Was Recently Denied a Temporary Release From Jail To Give Birth

Grace Kelley was recently denied temporary release from jail to give birth. She is currently serving jail time after pleading guilty to driving with a suspended or revoked license.

According to Penn Live, Kelley's due date was reported to be August 16. In 2022, Kelley was granted a temporary release to give birth to her first child, Kaliyah, who now lives with Wynonna on her Tennessee farm.

"Recent court documents state that Kelley currently has 'no contact with her biological family in Tennessee' and receives 'no contact or support from that side of the family,' including her mother," Penn Live reports. "A representative for Judd did not immediately respond to requests for comment."

Hopefully, in time, both Wynonna and Grace can reconcile.
