Perez Hilton reunited with his three children while he remains in a treatment facility after his suicide attempt in August.

The Visit Was Supervised
In a statement shared on the blogger's website on Tuesday, Sep. 29, Hilton's children Mario, 13, Mia, 11, and Mayte, 8, visited their father a few weeks ago.
"They were first able to spend time together through a few video calls, and since then, Perez has also been able to see his children and his mom a few times for short, supervised visits at the facility," it read.
The post added that seeing his children in person "meant an enormous amount" to Hilton, whose real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr.
There were "definitely... a lot of emotions for everyone. However, being "able to spend that time together has been incredibly meaningful and healing."
Hilton's family has "limited" communication with the 48-year-old personality and is "not able to talk to him daily."
"While that's hard for us and for him, we understand that right now the priority isn't constant communication with family, but rather giving him the time and space to focus on his care and continue making progress," the statement shared.
Perez Hilton Attempted to Harm Himself in August
Hilton is still "learning better ways to cope" after an apparent attempt to harm himself live on TikTok on Aug. 4.
As Page Six reported, the internet personality's mother was granted temporary custody of his kids after the incident. It is unknown when Hilton will return home.
Last month, the Miami-Dade County Sheriff's Office received "multiple calls" regarding "an individual live-streaming acts of self-harm on social media." Hilton was then rushed to the hospital.
"The individual has been safely recovered and transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical attention," the sheriff's office said in a statement at the time. "The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office Crisis Response Unit and Licensed Mental Health Professionals are also on scene providing support and resources to the individual's family."
Hilton's children had left their home before the livestream began. He suffered "significant blood loss," and his injuries required surgery. After spending several weeks in the hospital, Hilton was transferred to a residential treatment program.
