The "Piano Man" is also famously a motorcycle guy, and now fans have a chance to snatch up some of Billy Joel's rides via an auction block.

Gooding Christie's auction house announced earlier this week that over 70 of the iconic singer's sprawling motorcycle collection will be up for grabs in November. This listing includes Harley-Davidsons, Yamahas, and BMWs owned by the 77-year-old "Uptown Girl" singer.
"I've always been drawn to bikes built by people who cared about getting every detail right," Joel explained in a statement. "I've loved building this collection. Now it's someone else's turn to hit the road."
"We are truly honored to present the Billy Joel Motorcycle Collection, and with what better location than New York City itself, a place so strongly associated with Mr. Joel and his celebrated legacy as one of the most beloved musicians of all time," Gooding Christie's President David Gooding gushed.
"Billy Joel is one of the most recognized motorcycle enthusiasts in the world. We are thrilled to be presenting his prized collection at Rétromobile NY in November," Gooding added.
Meanwhile, Billy Joel fans and motorcycle enthusiasts can get a sneak peek at the auction offerings at Christie's Rockefeller Center, New York, from October 8-12. The motorcycles go up for auction on Nov. 20 and 21 at Javits Convention Center in NYC.
However, the legendary rocker isn't just looking to score a quick buck. All of the proceeds from the auction will go to Joel's music education nonprofit, The Joel Foundation.
Standouts From Billy Joel's Motorcycle Collection Going Up For Auction
Of course, there are a few standout motorcycles from Joel's collection expected to fetch a pretty penny. A restored 1975 Ducati 750 Sport may get as much as $35,000. A Christie's spokesperson called it "one of the most beautiful motorcycles ever conceived."
A 1978 Triumph T140 Bonneville, which Joel was gifted for his 150th sold-out show at Madison Square Garden, may go for as much as $15,000. Meanwhile, a 1982 Ducati Mike Hailwood 900 may fetch as much as $25,000, according to Gooding Christie's.
Joel shuttered his famous Long Island motorcycle shop last year, according to The New York Post. According to the outlet, Joel let fans see his collection free of charge for 15 years at the location.
The singer made the decision shortly after he announced that he had been diagnosed with normal pressure hydrocephalus. He underwent surgery to help relieve symptoms of the brain disorder earlier this year.
