The wrestling industry is still mourning the loss of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star Benjamin Satterly. Better known by his stage name, Pac. The wrestling star was pronounced dead this past Sunday (September 27).

Following the star's passing, AEW boss Tony Khan broke his silence about Pac's untimely death. Ahead of the Ring of Honor (ROH) taping on Monday (September 28).
Khan was obviously emotional when addressing Satterly's death. Less than 48 hours removed from competing at AEW'sAll Out on Saturday (September 26).

Khan praised the high-flyer. He noted how he "epitomized the very best of wrestling and the very best of humanity" and described him as "one of the best people" he ever knew.
"Ben was an absolutely fantastic wrestler and an absolutely fantastic human being. A great person to work with and a great person to spend time with," Khan said.
Satterly was found unresponsive inside his vehicle on Sunday afternoon outside of a CAVA restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois, as first reported by the New York Post. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No cause of death for the wrestling star has been confirmed. However, a spokesperson for the Des Plaines Police Department said that they do not believe that foul play was a factor in his passing. And that the "circumstances surrounding his death are not considered suspicious."
Pac had been with AEW since the company aired on television in 2019. Prior to that, he had been wrestling with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) under the name Neville.
Khan added that he believes that Satterly succeeded at becoming one of the "greatest wrestlers of all time." But aside from his wrestling abilities, Khan also paid homage to the person that Pac was.
"You'll hear a lot about what a wonderful person Ben was this week. Because frankly I've never met a person who was more beloved by his peers and his friends. It was such a pleasure to spend time with Ben outside of wrestling as well," Khan continued. "Whether it was having dinner, watching a football match, or traveling. Ben is a very first-class person. He left behind a lovely wife and a lot of great friends and a legacy that will last forever."
