Disney alum Joe Jonas recalled a scary incident in which he became trapped between two boats during his vacation in Italy.

The boy band member recounted the close call during a Sept. 23 episode of The Morgan Stewart Show podcast.
The "Camp Rock" star revealed that he and Stewart took a group trip to Italy with their romantic partners. Jonas was accompanied by his girlfriend, Tatiana Gabriela, while Stewart came with her husband, Jordan McGraw.

Stewart explained that the couples "had the best time" during the trip before Jonas recalled how a routine transfer from a yacht to a smaller tender boat in Portofino nearly turned the vacation on its head.
"It sounds like the bougiest problem," Jonas acknowledged. "But it was terrifying."
Stewart said that visitors can typically take their own tender into port. However, this particular restaurant required guests to use its transfer boat and crew.
Amid "rocky" waters, a crew member held onto Jonas' arm and assured him that it was safe to make the jump.
"But as I take a step, I think a wave came in and it pushed the boat far out from the yacht," Jonas recalled. "It sounds like the bougiest problem, but it was terrifying. Because then I slipped and fell between these two boats. The first mate tried to grab me, but he also fell in after me."
The Jonas Brothers singer said he was fully clothed with his phone in his pocket when he fell into the water.
He surfaced and immediately realized that staying between the two vessels was not an option.
The people around him suggested swimming toward the yacht's ladder, but Jonas worried about the engines at the back of the vessel. Instead, he decided to climb onto the tender.
His first attempt didn't go so well.
"I must have hit my shin or something... and then I fell back in," he said.
Jonas said he was eventually able to roll himself onto the tender. Later, as they dined at the restaurant, Jonas realized how dangerous the incident had been.
"I finally came down from the anxiety and I looked at Tati, and I was like, 'That s— was really scary,'" he recalled. "Like that really spooked me for a while."
He added that he was grateful the situation didn't turn out worse.
"You realize it could've been any of us," Jonas said. "It could have been really bad. It was the best outcome of a bad situation."
