"Patriot Day Freedom Fest," a MAGA event that boasted the likes of "Bawitdaba" wordsmith Kid Rock and Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman, has been canceled after depressingly low VIP ticket sales.

The event, which was set to go down in Morning View, Kentucky, on Saturday (Sept. 26), was organized by Eric Deters, a 2023 Republican gubernatorial candidate. Deters planned for the event, which was touted as being for "
Americans fighting for America," to be free to the public. However, this reportedly hinged on selling as many as 100 VIP tickets, which started at $1,000 apiece.The VIP package for "Patriot Day Freedom Fest" promised a premium experience including meet-and-greet opportunities and a VIP hospitality tent. As readers might expect, they weren't exactly the hot tickets Deters expected them to be.
"When I put together Patriot State Freedom Fest, I put it together with the game plan and the idea that I could pay for it with the VIP sales of $1,000 from these hundred people that I interact with on a regular basis that have money," Deters revealed in a since-deleted video, per Newsweek and The Cincinnati Enquirer.
"It's Monday morning. I got my guy who's setting up the ticket sales," he added. "I said, 'How many have bought a ticket?' And he said, 'You can't make this up.' Are you ready for the drumroll?"

"Only six people had bought a VIP ticket," Deters reportedly claimed.
The former Republican gubernatorial candidate then went on to drag his high roller pals for not being enticed to pay $1,000 to meet Kid Rock and Dog the Bounty Hunter.
"Out of all these people that have money that I interact with, who I do favors for all day long," Deters bemoaned. "They ask me for something; I never say no. I never said no to these people."
"None of these people will ever, ever, ever get a favor from me again, ever. Not only will they never get a favor from me again," the former attorney threatened.
"Patriot Day Freedom Fest" kicked off in 2022. However, after the MAGA event failed so miserably this year, Deters, sounding a bit like a famous Taylor Swift tune, declared that he would "never ever, ever, ever, ever [do] this event again."
Meanwhile, Kid Rock instantly distanced himself from the fiasco.
"Kid Rock was added to this event 5 days before it cancelled," the 55-year-old's rep told Entertainment Weekly. "He was not performing, only booked to speak at the event. He has no other ties to the event."
The canceled event also featured Fox News personality Joe Concha and Kentucky Rep. James Comer. How could "people that have money" ever have resisted???
