Former supermodel and popular celebrity Cindy Crawford is said to be utterly bereaved by the death of her son, Presley Gerber. He passed away on Sunday, September 20, at the age of 27 from "a suspected overdose." per The Guardian. Gerber had reportedly dealt with mental health and substance abuse issues for a long while.

Per Page Six, a source opened up about how Cindy Crawford must be feeling after this crushing loss. "They were so close. What you saw online and in the press wasn't just for that purpose. They were a tight-knit family and [sister] Kaia and Presley were more than just siblings. Cindy has to be beyond gutted."
The outlet points out that this source said Crawford was behind her son every step of the way. Per Page Six, "While it's unclear how Presley got himself into treatment, his mother always had her son's best interests at heart, the source said."
She Has Been a Dedicated Mother to Both of Her Children
