A series of cryptic posts on Instagram have left Kate Beckinsale's fans worried for her safety. The Underworld actress initially posted to her feed, uploading a black square with the word "bye" written in the middle. The upload occurred on Sunday, Sept. 20, in the morning.

Beckinsale then posted to the platform for a second time, with the additional post being sent to her stories. The upload showed a rainbow in the distance, with the viewpoint of the image looking over a road at an intersection. She captioned the upload with "Congratulations, you win; I give up."
If those posts weren't enough to leave Beckinsale's fans worried for her safety, her next move surely was. She then proceeded to wipe everything else from her Instagram page, leaving just the black square with "bye" written on it, as the only post on her profile.
According to TMZ, they have reached out to a representative for the Underworld star, but have not heard back.
It's also worth noting that Beckinsale's profile contains a link to a story about Caroline Flack's suicide from the BBC.
This isn't the first time Beckinsale has worried her fans. Earlier this year, she wiped her account before posting an image that said, "you win."
Beckinsale has since deleted her posts from Sunday.
Kate Beckinsale Recently Revealed That She's Struggling With PTSD
In July, 2025, Kate Beckinsale revealed that her mother, Judy Loe, had died in her arms. Beckinsale has clearly been struggling with the grief that followed. In a now-deleted video that was posted on Instagram, Beckinsale recently shared that she was struggling with PTSD.
During the video, Beckinsale noted that people with PTSD can usually mask their struggles and navigate day-to-day life. However, she also shared that anything and everything can become a trigger.
"Anything — smells, sounds, thoughts, feelings — can trigger them into a place that is actually like hell," she shared, via Page Six. "It really is true that when you haven't walked a mile in someone's shoes — however fancy you think the shoes are — you have absolutely no idea what they might be carrying, masking, dealing with day and night."
Later in the video, Beckinsale noted that people struggling with PTSD are among the "loneliest people." Hopefully, Beckinsale has a strong support system around her who can help get her the help she needs.
