Florida Couple Accused of Firing Guns While Drinking

A young couple in Florida will now supposedly have to find other ways to enjoy each other's leisure time company. That is, other than what they allegedly did together on Saturday night, September 12. The pair, whose names are reportedly Tiffany Rose Lindo and Jacob Robert Mills, both 25, were allegedly firing weapons while intoxicated.

"Firearms and Alcohol: A Bad Combination, A Worse Decision"

In a

Facebook post with the above title from the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office, the basic facts of the alleged incident are laid out. As the police narrative states, two deputies went to a home on Happiness Street in Fort Pierce. They reportedly were summoned because of word that shooting was taking place. "A witness reported seeing a male and female firing multiple weapons, including a shotgun, rifle, and handguns."

It turns out that a couple who were allegedly drinking were also firing guns "into the ground." Lindo and Mills were arrested. They face charges of "Discharging a Firearm in Public or Residential Area and Use of a Firearm While Under the Influence of Alcohol."

Police Issued a Stern Warning About Such Alleged Behavior

No one was hurt in this alleged incident. But someone very easily could have been. Therefore, law enforcement included a really tough and unequivocal warning in their post so others will not do anything similar.

Their cautionary words stated, "While shooting into the ground may have seemed like a good idea to those involved, adding alcohol and multiple firearms to the equation is not a combination that ends well. If you are drinking, do not handle or discharge a firearm. Put the firearm away, leave it alone, and make the responsible choice."

A Photo of Tiffany Lindo Shows Her Apparently Smiling as She Gets in a Squad Car

A pic of Tiffany Rose Lindo on the Facebook page of the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office depicts her smiling. An odd reaction after being arrested. Commenters weighed in with various reactions to the alleged behavior of Lindo and Mills.

"Obviously this couldn't have been made up, could it? An arrest on Happiness Street with one of the arrestees happy as can be going into the cop car. Go figure."

"I think getting arrested was on her bucket list. She's smiling like she just went to Disney World."

"Arrested for shots...apparently they misunderstood which kind."
