Internet Goes Wild After Inappropriately-Named Tickets Sold at Zoo

The zoo blamed the wildly inappropriate error on their computer systems. Social media went wild over the whole debacle.

Out of all the predators I'd want to see at a zoo, this one would be at the bottom of the list...

If the ticket meant what the Internet took it to mean, of course. Chester Zoo in England was at the butt of a very unfortunate, if hilarious, situation recently.

As reported by Dexerto, they were selling tickets to their aptly named "Predator Tour". It sounds like a pretty nice tour, all considered - taking guests around the large zoo too see, well... predators.

Some, ones you'd expect - lions, tigers - and others are a little more niche - komodo dragons. Their website itself read, "Discover the iconic predators of the animal kingdom, and their prey in our very unique guided tour".

Sounds like a nice day out with the family, right? Well, that's exactly who Chester Zoo were looking to purchase the tickets. Like with any other of their tour tickets, they were demarcated by whether they were for adults or for children.

So, Adult Predator... Child Predator. That's right. They obviously weren't selling tickets for that... it was just a computer not realising the connotations!

The Internet Went Wild About the Zoo Tickets

Of course, people couldn't get enough of such a funny thing. Social media blew up as people commented on the wild incident.

One commenter wrote, "Chris Hansen will already be waiting by the tiger exhibit", in reference to the hit show To Catch a Predator. Someone even posted an AI-generated picture of Chris Hansen "confronting" a predator... a tiger, not a human, mind you.

Another commenter kept with the sting theme, writing, "I hope this has been cleared by Cheshire Police - seems a bit dangerous".

Another commenter wrote, "And over there you'll maybe catch a glimpse of our 'Gary, Your 40 Something Neighbor Who Lives Alone & Keeps To Himself'".

"It doesn't matter how cold or logical computers are," another person mused. "Sometimes they'll still come up with a great laugh. Good job, clankers, you earned this one."

In any case, we're glad that children can go to the zoo to experience a wholesome attraction, free of the wrong type of predators!
