Among luxury hotels, complimentary breakfast, toiletries and Wi-Fi access have become the norm. A pair of guests in Florida were surprised to discover a complimentary guest in their hotel room.

Ritchel Calvaire, of Florida, was arrested and charged after a couple found him hiding underneath their hotel bed on Thursday, Sept. 10, according to an arrest affidavit filed in Miami-Dade County courts and obtained by PEOPLE.
According to the arrest affidavit, a man and woman checked into a room at the Provident Doral on Wednesday, Sept. 9. Upon entering the room, the couple closed the blinds to the room's rear sliding glass door and went to sleep.
Little did they know they weren't the only individuals catching a few zzz's in the Miami-area hotel.
Florida Man Arrested For Sneaking Into Occupied Hotel Room
The woman told police she felt movement near the bed around 4 AM the following morning, but fell back asleep. A couple of hours later, she felt movement underneath the bed around 6:30 AM. Once more, she did not investigate further.
As the couple prepared to leave the hotel, the woman checked under the bed around 7:45 AM to ensure she didn't leave anything behind.
Thinking she might find a pair of shoes or a dropped item, she stumbled upon an adult male hiding underneath the bed.
According to the outlet, the couple darted out of the hotel and alerted the hotel security.
Calvaire was arrested later that day.
The hotel manager said that Calvaire was a guest at the hotel on Aug. 31 but was advised by hotel staff not to return, according to the arrest affidavit.
The Florida native returned two days later and was escorted off the premises after retrieving items he left behind during his initial visit.
Calvaire was much more sly his third time around.
Police allege that Calvaire entered the couple's room "by jumping over a balcony fence and entering through a rear sliding glass door," then "subsequently concealed himself stealthily underneath the victims' bed" while they slept.
Calvaire now faces a charge of burglary of an occupied dwelling.
Most travelers already plan to wipe down surfaces and devices when entering a hotel room. A quick scan underneath the bed for unwanted guests may be required, too, apparently.
