Body Cam Footage Reveals Former UFC Champ Challenging Cop To Fight

Newly released body cam footage reveals that former UFC Lightweight Champion Dustin Poirier challenged police officers to a fight.

Poirier, 37, was arrested at the Atlanta International Airport on June 21 for public drunkenness after causing a disturbance and being escorted off a plane.

In the initial arrest video, Poirier is shown cursing out the airline staff and the responding officer sent to arrest him.

Former UFC Champion Threatens to Fight Police Officer

Angered that his group was allowed to travel without him, Poirier called the gate attendants "a bunch of lying motherf---s" in a heated rant. The one-time Interim UFC Lightweight Champion even dropped his bags and threatened to fight the responding officer.

"I'll fight you right now," Poirier said while taking off his backpack. "I'll go with you right now. Let's go!"

When the police officer called in for backup, Poirier threatened him once again, body cam footage revealed.

"Yeah, tell them to come on. Because it's gonna be bad. It's gonna be bad," the UFC fighter said while squaring up.

Newly released bodycam footage of the incident acquired by Mark Fighting shows the extended sequence of Poirier's arrest, with the UFC fighter again challenging officers to take off the cuffs and go "one-on-one."

The body cam footage begins with Poirier in handcuffs while being escorted by police to a private cell.

Poirier repeatedly curses at the officers and offers to settle the situation with a brawl.

"Y'all free me, and we go one-on-one," Poirier said. "Let's go one-on-one. Let's see what happens. Unlock me. I will f*** you up."

Moments later, the UFC star begins bragging about his previous stints in jail.

"I've been months, years, I've done prison time," Poirier said. "Alexandria .... This sh-t ain't nothing to me, dog. You know I've been in prison? I'm not lying to you!

"Dog, I've done penitentiary time already."

"For what, exactly?" the arresting officer asked.

"Second-degree assault. It got turned into simple battery. And other sh-t. I've done time before. I don't give a f*** about this."

Poirier was released from Clayton County Jail on bond later that same evening.
