Willie Edwards Jr., most well known for starring in the History Channel's Swamp People, has been arrested. As reported by Penn Live, he was hit with multiple charges.
Edwards Jr. was booked into the Iberville Parish Jail and subsequently charged with felony theft as well as illegal possession of stolen things.
ABC News 2 reported that the Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office had received reports of stolen material being found near the Bayou Blue area. After investigating the report, they had obtained a search warrant for another individual.
Edwards Jr. wasn't the only one to be arrested by the Iberville Parish police. 43-year-old Trent Tullier as well as 46-year-old Elgin Floyd were also booked for the same charges as the Swamp People star.
The Swamp People star starred on the show from its first season, continuing up until 2024. His late father, Junior Edwards, was also a star on the show. He tragically passed away last year after a fight with stage 4 colon cancer.

The Boss for 'Swamp People' Talked About Edwards Jr.'s Loss
An interview with the show's executive producer in 2025 shed some light on Edwards Jr.'s life following the tragic death of his father. He also talked about Edwards Jr.'s son, who continues to star on Swamp People as "Little Willie".
Per TV Insider, Brian Catalina explained, "Junior Edwards [Edwards Jr.'s father] was one of the original cast members on the show. Edwards was on Season 1 and many seasons after."
"He was such a fixture for many years," he continued. "He was the guy who basically invented treble hooking, he really was a legend on the swamp and a bigger than life character for sure."
"'Little Willie' is the next generation, and that was his pawpaw. His daddy [Edwards Jr.] is a really accomplished alligator hunter as well. He really held his pawpaw in really high esteem. He was a legend... There was a lot that he brought to the Edwards name."
He added that Little Willie "takes Edwards' name seriously and takes his legacy very seriously."
