B2K member Raz-B and his wife Mona Li's infant son, Astro Monte Thornton, has died suddenly at three months old.

A representative for the couple provided a statement to the Shade Room about the tragedy.
"It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Astro Monte Thornton, beloved son of Mona and De'Mario 'Raz B' Thornton of the R&B supergroup B2K," the statement read.
"The family asks for privacy as they navigate this difficult time. They truly appreciate your love and support."
Details about Astro's passing have not been disclosed.
The couple had just welcomed their new baby in May.
On May 18, the rapper posted to Instagram, "Right now we're at the hospital getting ready to welcome our newest addition, Astro.
"Another baby boy to the Thornton family."
A month later, Raz-B shared a touching social media post on Father's Day, featuring clips of Astro's birth.
"Living in the moment, so this is a day late. We thank you for all you do!" the caption read. "Thank you for your love, commitment and generosity for us and those you care for. Thank you for protecting us, being our safest place and our forever hero!"
The exact date of Raz-B and Mona Li's wedding is unknown, but he noted that the couple celebrated their anniversary in June.
The couple also shares an older son, Versai Carter Thornton.

Raz-B is a founding member of the boy band B2K.
Led by frontman Omarion, the R&B boy band B2K rose to fame in the early 2000s with hits "Bump, Bump, Bump" and "What a Girl Wants."
The group was assembled in 1998 by American choreographer Dave Scott and Interscope A&R Keisha Gamble.
B2K released their self-titled debut album on March 12, 2002. The album peaked at number two on the Billboard 200.
B2K officially broke up in 2004, just before the release of their dance movie You Got Served.
Earlier this year, the group reunited for The Boys 4 Life Tour, a 28-city show spanning from February to April. Bow Wow was the co-headliner.
