A reality star is denying reports that she acted as a bully on set. Big Brother 28 contestant Haley Thogmartin accused LaTrice "Lala" Verrett of being a bully.

However, Verrett disagrees with that assessment. She denied being a bully on the show. The reality star was evicted on September 3 from the show.
"I'm not a bully, you're a bully," she said. "'Bully' is a very particular term. Bullying is very, very serious. My daughter was bullied in high school and in grammar school, and I take bullying very seriously. So, no, I do not think I was bullied."
She had some words for her reality costar as well.
"Haley told me that I bullied her. Ignoring someone is not bullying. I ignored Haley," Lala also continued. "Haley was a very passive-aggressive person. She would say things in passing, she would say things within earshot that would be striking. It would kind of hit you in the side, you'd go, 'Wait a second, was she talking to me? Was she talking about me?'"
Reality Star Denies Being a Bully
However, she insisted that the two had effectively buried the hatchet. Meanwhile, Thogmartin also said that she may have misspoke.
"I wish I would have just said 'mean' - I don't think she's a bully," Haley told Men's Journal of Lala last month. "I think we just did not connect."
Meanwhile, Verett says she wished that she would have aligned herself with Dee Valladares. She figured that she might have lasted longer.
"That little chick is strategic and lethal," she said. "They're gonna let Dee slip by and get to the end and that would be a horrible, horrible mistake. These Survivor players are ruthless. And it is very apparent that one of them will make it to the last two seats because they are playing this game like 'Survivor,' not like 'Big Brother,' baby. They brought a whole other thing to this game."
She said that it worked against her.
"I thought that my age and that mothering thing was going to work for me, but baby, once I won that wall, the blinders were off for them. They were like, 'Oh, hey, wait a second, this chick is no joke!'" she also said. "The wall was what I wanted to win, and that's what I won and I was not losing that for anybody. So, if that changed the trajectory of my game, so be it."
