A recent Garth Brooks concert didn't go to plan. In fact, things took such a turn that over 20 people were left needing medical attention.
It all started when Brooks, who is currently on the road for his 'Blame It All On My Roots' tour, was announced as a special guest at a small bar and music venue called The Grizzly Rose. The venue was smart; they didn't announce Brooks by name. Instead, they promoted one of his pseudonyms, calling him 'Yukon Jack.'
Clearly, the venue's attempt at being coy wasn't the best approach, as over 2,000 people were in attendance. And, as you can probably guess, when 'Yukon Jack' took to the stage, the crowd was delighted to see it was indeed Brooks.

Shockingly, while the crowd was all struggling with the spiking temperatures, Brooks continued his set, all while wearing a hoodie.
Why Does Garth Brooks Go by 'Yukon Jack'?
When you're one of the most famous musicians on the planet, it's normal to have a handful of pseudonyms. For Brooks, 'Yukon Jack' is just one of his more commonly used ones.
The reason he goes by that name is that it pays homage to his hometown of Yukon, Oklahoma. Furthermore, his show at The Grizzly Rose wasn't the first time he's gone by that pseudonym when appearing on stage. He previously appeared as 'Yukon Jack' way back in 1993 for a small pop-up show at a bar in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
If we're being honest, most people in the crowd are unlikely to have connected the dots. They would have just been delighted to see Brooks take to the stage. Yet, some of his more steadfast fans from the area likely knew exactly what they were signing up for, except for the heat, of course.
Currently, no information has been released regarding those in attendance who needed medical attention. Hopefully, they've all made, or are working toward a full recovery.
