A former AGT alum is in serious trouble. Police charged former America's Got Talent contestant Deshundre Vinson with first degree murder.

They arrested him on September 2 in Tennessee. Police charged him with both first-degree murder and three counts of aggravated child abuse. Hamilton County Sheriff's Office confirmed the arrest. The former entertainer's bond is $750,000.
According to police, the AGT alum is accused of killing a 4-year-old at a Central Avenue apartment swimming pool in Chattanooga. The 4-year-old drowned on August 16. At the time, Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) were in the area on a separate call.
They heard screaming and found the boy near the pool.
He was unconscious and couldn't not be revived. He died five days later at a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. So where does the AGT alum come into play? Well, security cams showed the young toddler falling into the water and drowning.
'AGT' Alum Charged
The toddler was underwater for nine minutes before a bystander attempted to rescue him and performed CPR. The AGT alum was supposed to be babysitting the toddler. According to police, the young child was Vinson's nephew.
Vinson was babysitting the child along with other children at the apartment complex. While babysitting, Vinson allegedly let the siblings go to the apartment pool by themselves. They determined the AGT alum wasn't watching them. Without adult supervision, the child fell into the pool and drowned.
Investigators also allege that messages acknowledged that he wasn't watching the kids when the incident happened. They noted his delayed reaction to helping the toddler. In other AGT real news, Simon Cowell recently had back surgery.
Howie Mandell shared an update on the celeb.
"As I talk to you, he is just hours out of surgery," Mandell exclusively told E! News. "I heard that it was a success, everything's okay. I haven't called him yet. I don't know that, this close to surgery, if this is the first thing you need to see. I'm hoping that Simon makes his way back and has a speedy, quick recovery. That's what I'm looking forward to."
