He shared on social media that he has been struggling with his health for some time.

"Hey y'all," the singer wrote in a post to his Instagram stories. "The road has been dragging me down in a bad way. From mental to physical health. I am going away for a couple of weeks to get myself and my priorities back in order."

The country singer was touring with Ella Langley. But he's bowing out of the tour to focus on his own personal journey.

"I want to thank Ella for having me out on tour. And wishing her the BEST in Auburn tonight and the rest of the tour," he wrote. "I look forward to coming back better and stronger. I owe it to myself and those affected by my actions. That starts now. Love y'all."

Country Singer Steps Away from Touring

Fans sent plenty of well wishes his way, hoping that he recovers from wheatever is ailing him.

"Love you Ern!" one person replied. "Please take care of yourself and your mental health. We want the absolute best version of you! Takes as much times as you need. Just remember no one's perfect we all struggle. You're not alone. Instagram is fake and the world's hard! Much love!"

"Hope you are doing okay brother," another wrote. "We love you and can't wait till ur back."

Another fan also wrote, "Hope you doing good, brother."

Outside of touring, Ernest also took time to perform a tribute song for Dolly Parton for fans. He wrote, "Bitter sweet day at the legendary Red Rocks. ? We lost the QUEEN yesterday and I believe it took a bit out of all of us, all over the world. Dolly Parton, the songwriter, artist, woman, philanthropist and the ICON. She lived a life that brought joy to many thru not only songs but laughter and a warm, giving heart.... She will be greatly missed..."
