Earlier this year, Green proved himself on screen, making his debut on Marshals. The Yellowstone spin-off from Taylor Sheridan saw Green appear in four episodes alongside Luke Grimes. Following his first taste of the acting world, it would seem that Green is eager to do more.

"There was something really fulfilling about being able to go and accomplish something in a window of time. I love being on tour, but that never really ends," Green told Entertainment Tonight during a recent interview. "The tour might change names every year, but it's just a constant. We're always going to be playing shows and traveling around."

Green then followed that up by sharing how much he enjoyed the challenge of getting into character.

"I really enjoyed the process of trying to get into character and figure out what would this person be doing and how would they do it," Green told Talk Shop Live. "It was a real challenge at a point in my career when I feel like I needed one. I wanted something that was different and wanted to learn new."

Riley Green Would Be Open to New Roles

As Green's interview with Talk Shop Live continued, he shared how important shows such as Yellowstone can be for discovering new country talent.

"It's such a great tie-in with country music and those 'Yellowstone' shows in general — all the spin-off shows. It's such a great way for a lot of artists to get discovered. There's a lot of artists that you hear their music on those shows."

Of course, Green might look outside of the Yellowstone universe for his next role. Still, it's clear that another acting gig is sitting on his mind.

"It was something I really enjoyed. I could see myself doing a lot more of that. I've actually been looking at some other roles...Probably a classic sports movie remake like 'Bull Durham' or 'Varsity Blues' — a 'Field of Dreams' remake. What about a western?"

Regardless of who casts Green, or what movie he's tasked with, odds are that he's going to crush it. There's just something about Green where it's clear he was born for stardom. The question is, just how bright is that star going to shine?
