Barry Manilow Suddenly Bows Out of More Concerts as Health Woes Continue

Barry Manilow is still trying to bounce back from lung cancer surgery. He had to cancel additional concerts apparently due to his health.

Beloved icon Barry Manilow is still trying to fully get back on his feet after lung cancer surgery months ago. It has apparently been a slow process for the "Mandy" singer, 83, whose legendary career has spanned several decades. Unfortunately, per Page Six, Manilow had to scrub two performances recently. They were scheduled at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino on Friday, August 21 and Saturday. August 22. Per the outlet,those shows were included in The Hits Come Home! residency.

In fact, Manilow put off some of those residency performances that were previously slated for February because he was still recuperating.

The disappointing change was announced on Instagram. The post stated, "We're very sorry but we have to cancel tonight's and tomorrow's performances. Due to technical and vocal problems, we're unable to put on our show." In the comments, another message noted, "Refunds will automatically be processed via your point of purchase."

Manilow Canceled Another Show Lately

He also scrapped a show in Lexington, Kentucky, at Rupp Arena earlier in August. The reason given at the time was "unforeseen crcumstances." That concert, per the outlet, was first slated for March 9, then it was postponed.

Many people wrote messages of compassion and support in the comments section of the cancellation message. They wish Barry Manilow the very best and hope he takes all the time he needs to get well.
