Popular Rock Band’s Tour Bus Involved in Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash

The tragic crash occurred on Interstate 26 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The rock band released a statement about the incident.

Popular rock band Buckcherry has been involved in a multi-vehicle crash with their tour bus. As reported by BLABBERMOUTH, the tragic incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, August 21.

Authorities from the South Carolina Highway Patrol explained that a single-vehicle crash had led to a driver exiting their vehicle.

A Toyota sedan was moving east on Interstate 26. At around mile marker 31, it tragically struck the pedestrian. Their identity has not been released pending an investigation.

It remains unclear where exactly the rock band's tour bus was involved in the collision. However, it may have been involved in the multi-vehicle pile-up, following the loss of the victim's life.

Per the authorities, all lanes of Interstate 26 were closed following the incident. However, as of 10:30 am the same day, things were back to normal.

The Rock Band Responded to News of the Crash

The rock band confirmed online that all their members, as well as their tour crew, were unharmed following the tragic incident.

Per Louder, their statement reads, "At approximately 2am Friday morning, Buckcherry's tour bus was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on I-26 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina."

"We are extremely grateful to report that all members of Buckcherry and our touring crew are safe and unharmed," they continued. "Tragically, authorities have confirmed that the collision that occurred ahead of our bus resulted in a fatality."

Their statement continued with the band giving their "thoughts and deepest condolences" to the victim's family and loved ones.

They added that their scheduled performance was "expected to proceed as planned". They will perform in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at the Culture Room.

The rock band also thanked their fans for their support. They concluded their statement, "We sincerely appreciate everyone who has reached out with concern and support".

Buckcherry are currently on tour in order to support their album, 2025's Roar Like Thunder. While they confirmed the incident will not affect their next tour date, it remains to be seen whether it will change any of their future dates.
