Nancy Kissinger, the widow of former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, has died at the age of 92. She reportedly passed away on Thursday, August 20. She was at her home in South Kent, Connecticut, according to the New York Post. Born Nancy Sharon Maginnes in Manhattan in 1934, she and Kissinger wed in 1974. He died in 2023 at the age of 100. Her death was first reported by the New York Times. Nancy Kissinger was educated at Mount Holyoke College and Harvard University.

At six feet tall, Nancy Kissinger had an imposing and statuesque presence. In fact, per the Post, Chinese dictator Mao Zedong once seemed to be awed by her height. That was back in 1975. However, Kissinger's impressive physical stature was not the most striking thing about her. In fact, a sharp intellect, deep knowledge of foreign policy, and a gracious manner were traits that earned Nancy Kissinger admiration and respect wherever she went.
