Florida Police Find Thousands of Dollars Hiding Inside Woman's Body Cavity

Florida police had arrested the woman and taken her to jail when they made the unexpected discovery. They posted about it online.

Florida police made a pretty crazy discovery after arresting a woman. Per the New York Post, 31-year-old Moniquie Love Turnbull had been accused of a wild scamming scheme.

Police explained that the Miami native had been arrested after she allegedly showed up to a senior citizen's home pretending that she was working for their bank.

The Martin County Sheriff's Office continued that Turnbull had tried to get the person's credit card. She had allegedly said to the victim that their account was compromised - so she needed the card.

Luckily, the alleged victim had contacted law enforcement after becoming suspicious. Deputies investigated the case, and put two and two together that she may had been involved in another case.

She was later located driving near Interstate 95, and promptly arrested on fraud charges. The arrest happened during a traffic stop, and was caught on bodycam.

But sheriffs were surprised to find something a little unusual whilst searching Turnbull after she'd been brought to jail. Turnbull had been found with $3,200 directly in... a sensitive area.

Police were, expectedly, baffled. "It's not clear who the money was taken from, but for now, it's accounted for and sealed in evidence," they explained. They also quipped, "Keep in mind, at some point the cash will be back in public circulation."

This Isn't the Craziest Thing Police Have Found a Suspect Doing

It's more often than not that a suspect thinks that they can outsmart police. Whether it's hiding money... there, or thinking they can hide themselves in a crazy spot, things get weird fast. Either way, it doesn't often work out.

One of the crazier hiding spots a suspect put himself in is a fridge in an apartment... that's right. We reported on it when it happened back in March.

Police had cleared each room one by one looking for threats after a concerned resident called about a suspected burglary - and when they reached the kitchen, they found him there. When they commanded him to come out, he responded, "It's cold outside!".

Cpl. Ryan Winderweedle of the Gwinnett County Police explained that this wasn't exactly unusual - people do this more often than you'd expect. I guess people hiding things and people hiding themselves are intertwined!
