"It's more than a concert, that's what I've realized on this tour," Moroney said. "The show has helped people, which is not something I ever imagined would be possible as an artist, you know? You think like, 'Oh, I'm just here to entertain.' But when I meet my fans and read messages and stuff, the show has changed some of their lives. So it's really impactful, and it's just made me feel very grateful for all of the good things that has come with the tour."

As Moroney continued, she noted that her shows have become both a positive and inclusive environment. Interestingly, she believes that fact has remained true despite the depressive feelings that some of her songs can tap into.

"It's not just a show," Moroney said. "It's more than that."

Moroney's latest tour has come hot on the heels of her "Cloud 9" album, which debuted in February this year.

Megan Moroney's Tour Hasn't All Been Smooth Sailing

There's no doubt that Moroney's tour has been a resounding success. However, that doesn't mean it's all been smooth sailing. During a recent show, Moroney was forced to cut her set short due to illness.

"This is obviously the last thing I would want to do, but I am obviously extremely sick and I thought I did everything to make myself better but then obviously two songs in I just can't play this song tonight," Moroney said. "I will make it up to you guys, I absolutely promise I'll be back, y'all will be able to come, but I want to give you guys the show you deserve. And I'm probably going to go cry in my dressing room now. I'm sorry."

Moroney had initially performed "Stupid," "Medicine," and "Bless Your Heart." Unfortunately, she was too sick to continue.

Despite the cancellation, her fans all seemed to understand. Perhaps that's why she's found these shows so supportive and inclusive. When the experience is so positive, it encourages artists to get back out on the road. So, don't be surprised if Moroney announces another tour shortly after this one ends!
