If Chick-fil-A is known for one thing, it's darn good chicken. Well, their latest offering is set to live up to expectations for fans nationwide.
As reported by Yahoo!Life, the fast food chain had previously trialled a tried-and-tested combo in select markets last year. Chicken and waffles is beloved by millions - but, of course, corporate bureaucracy dictates things must be tried and tested before being shipped off.
At the time, people were absolutely smitten with it. "I need a dozen of them," one commenter explained, with another even lambasting the "test" part. "Why is this even a test? This needs to be nationwide yesterday."
Well, whether we have that fan specifically to thank or not is unknown. But what we do know is that their chicken and waffle sandwiches are set to grace Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide.
There's a pretty sad caveat, though - they're for a limited time only. They form part of the Fall menu's offerings.
The sandwiches will be available in both breakfast (smaller) form, and lunch/dinner (larger) form. The sandwiches themselves feature a Chick-fil-A chicken fillet, three strips of bacon, and honey butter spread.
In a fit of genius only rivalled by that of Socrates, they have even turned the waffles into the buns of the sandwich. Innovation is real!

But that's not all. Buckle up, because they also are gearing up to add another roaring offering to the table.
And that's the S'mores milkshake and the S'mores frosted coffee.
The milkshake features ice-cream (obviously) alongside chocolate shortbread, graham cracker crumble, marshmallow syrup and topping, and even a cherry.
The coffee is similar - just with some added coffee to boot. Oh, and minus the cherry, too.
The offerings are set to run from August 24, meaning, if you're drooling a little like me, you'll have to wait just a week or two before getting the chance to dig in.
How long they last, however, is a bit more of a mystery. Typically, they tend to last around up until November or so, when the holiday food menu kicks in.
