Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson has one of the most decorated careers in the entertainment industry overall. But he is still looking to test the waters and add to his already expansive entertainment portfolio. The former WWE champ is eyeing a career in the music industry.

The Rock Teases Music Career in New Clip
On Tuesday (August 11), the Rock teased a new song. The track titled Your Dad, pays homage to his three daughters: Simone, Jasmine, and Tiana.
"My whole life changed. From the moment I held you. In my heart, I knew that life would never be the same. It would be filled with love and laughter from now and forever after," he sings on the track.
Of course, fans had plenty to say about The Rock's new song.
"The Rock kinda sounds like Michael Bolton tho lol," one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"Bro's movies are terrible & he's getting too old to wrestle so now he's torturing our ears? Wow. I'm appalled," a second user chimed in.
"Rock tryin to sound like Luther Vandross instead of acknowledging his tribal chief is CRAZY work," a third user remarked.
When discussing his motivation behind getting in the booth, the former wrestling star said that the decision was more about personal gratification.
"I've reached this point in my life and in my career where, honestly ... when I wake up in the morning, I swing my legs out of bed, and whatever the thing is that I'm doing, I wanna feel like I'm just running towards it," The Rock said as caught by Bleacher Report. "And the most gratifying things we do are when it's for us, because we have enough pressure to deliver for so many other entities.
The Rock is a multi-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Played college football at the University of Miami, one of the most prestigious programs in the country. He has starred in several Academy Award-nominated films. But even after achieving so much, The Rock still wants more. It will be interesting to see how far his music career goes.
