According to Page Six, Dr. John Witherspoon was discharged on Sunday after doctors monitored him over the weekend.
The 84-year-old sparked concern on Friday after someone reportedly found him lying face down near the pool at his luxury apartment complex in Nashville.
A fellow resident spotted John and alerted the doorman before emergency services rushed to the scene.

John and his wife, Mary Elizabeth, raised Reese and her brothers in Nashville.
A retired otolaryngologist, John has reportedly become a well-known character around his condo complex.
Sources described him as having a "vibrant and eccentric spirit," with the 84-year-old regularly seen walking around the building wearing shorts and cowboy boots.
"He's a real hoot," a source told Page Six.
However, Friday's incident gave his family and fellow residents a significant scare.
"The doorman and building manager rolled him over and they said, 'Dr. Witherspoon, are you OK?'" a resident said. "He blinked his eyes, and that's when he was rushed to the hospital."
John subsequently spent Friday and Saturday nights receiving treatment before doctors allowed him to return home on Sunday.
Reese Witherspoon Addressed Father's Hospitalization
Nashville Metro confirmed that emergency responders attended a medical incident at John's residential building on Friday.
Officials did not identify John as the person involved.
However, Reese addressed the reports herself on Friday evening, confirming that her father had gone to the hospital following a fall.
"Earlier today, several outlets reported that my dad was taken to the hospital after a fall," she wrote on Instagram.
"I want to let everyone know that he is fine now. He is being taken care of by wonderful doctors and nurses."
"Thank you to everyone who reached out. It means the world to our family."
The latest update provides further reassurance, with John now back home following his two-night hospital stay.
Before his medical career, John also served in the U.S. Army Reserves, eventually reaching the rank of lieutenant colonel.
He spent time stationed in Germany when Reese and her siblings were young before the family settled in Nashville, where Reese spent much of her childhood.
