Chandler David Hendry, a Mormon influencer known for his podcast Restored Truth, has passed away at the age of 27. As reported by the New York Post, he died in a three-way car crash in Lehi, Utah.
He was travelling westbound when the three vehicles collided - one northbound, and the other southbound. According to KUTV, he reportedly ran a red light, and was also not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Despite being transported to a local hospital for treatment, he was pronounced dead. No other serious injuries were reported in the crash. The influencer tragically passed away just weeks before his second wedding anniversary.
Hendry was known for being a Mormon influencer, having over 70,000 followers across his social media channels. He also used his podcast to spread the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
A fundraiser set up by a family friend explained he "touched so many lives through his social media platforms" with the podcast. It added, "He helped many people better understand the teachings of the gospel and know that they are loved by their Heavenly Father."
As of August 11, the fundraiser has gained over $73,000.

The Influencer Posted an Eerie Video Hours Before His Death
The influencer had attended the FAIR conference in Lehi. The Mormon conference aimed to help answer questions about the Latter-day Saints' Church.
And it was there that he posted what would be his final video on social media, where he showed an illustration which he purported was that of the afterlife.
The illustration showed one line in the center, with several coming off of each side, labelled "A DIAGRAM OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD". "This is what the eternities will look like," the influencer explained. "A link of the family unit of God."
The Christian Research Institute explains that Mormons believe the afterlife has several "degrees" associated with it. Depending on their level of piety, they will enter a different kingdom.
Hendry is survived by his parents, as well as his wife, AnnaLynn.
