A beloved country and rock musician has sadly passed away. Guitarist Terry "Buffalo" Ware has died at 76.

The musician had been battling lung cancer for some time. His battle came to an end last Wednesday. His good friend confirmed on social media that the rock musician passed away.
"Terry Buffalo Ware left us today,"
Chris Buhalis wrote on Facebook. "I was lucky to be friends with Buff for nearly 30 years. He was an amazing musician, friend, husband, and OU Women's Basketball Fan. A fierce lover of his friends and detester of rat bastards. I'll miss being on the planet with him. I visited with him 4 weeks ago before the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival. We had ice cream and talked like old times. When I was getting ready to leave, Buff said, 'want to play a song?' We played a couple."He also shared a photo of the musician as well.

"Not sure what year this photo is from, but I know that right before we went on, Buff told me, 'Remember, Chris. If the introduction is longer than the song, that's not professional.' Because he always did. He was the best of us."
First learning to play the guitar from watching the beatles, the country and rock musician went on to work with Ray Wylie Hubbard, Jimmy LaFave and John Fulbright. He worked with Hubbard throughout his life, touring several times together.
He also later formed the rock band The Sensational Shoes. Following the passing of the country and rock musician, several people took to the comment section to mourn his loss.
One wrote, "Oh no, he was a fellow Okie & great guy. I will always remember Buff. Sending condolences to Anne Ware, Paula, Susan, & Kelly."
Another wrote, "He was, indeed, the best of us! Any 'of us' you can name-the best friend, neighbor, citizen..."
Yet another person wrote, "So sorry for the loss of your good friend Buff but what an honor to have such a deep and enduring connection with such a good soul. He'd absolutely want you to live on happily with his memory."
