Usher isn't the first celebrity to be accused of being a clone; however, he is the latest to fall victim to the wild conspiracy theory. The R'n'B superstar has quickly responded to the theory, which recently gained traction after a live show.

"Ya'll are funny .... clone? They can't clone this??" he wrote in the comments section of a video on TikTok.
Later in the same comments section, Usher returned, noting that AI isn't advanced enough to be pushing out clones of people.
"How y'all come up with this. A.I. ain't that advanced," he joked.
The theory began circling the internet after the first night of his joint show with Chris Brown. Fans believe that the person on stage didn't look like him, and that something about his appearance was off. The theory quickly took off online, which, as we know, means it spread like wildfire.
Fortunately, Usher seems to have found the funny side of things. His comments prove that he hasn't been offended by the theory, but is certainly keen to squash it. However, it isn't lost on his fanbase that this theory comes hot on the heels of an awkward on-stage encounter with a female fan.
What Happened Between Usher and the Female Fan?
During a recent show in Nashville, Usher chose to cut a fan encounter short. As he does in a lot of his shows, he invited a woman onto the stage before dancing close to her and singing directly to her. However, the woman in question looked far from comfortable in the situation. Therefore, Usher turned to the crowd, noting he didn't think she wanted to be on stage.
From there, Usher continued his show and allowed the fan to return to her seat.
Nevertheless, the awkward encounter quickly went viral online. That led to a lot of discussion aimed at both Usher and the fan in question, a lot of which was negative.
The fan has since responded regarding the situation, noting that she had no problem being on stage. Of course, this could all be a misunderstanding that both sides will want to move on from. Still, maybe that's why Usher did send out a clone for his latest show... If you believe that sort of thing, that is.
