If there is one thing you don't want to see when you are in a hospital, it's the mythical Grim Reaper. Usually considered a harbinger of death, it's more frightening than comical. Nevertheless, someone reportedly dressed up as this darkly ominous figure and went to a hospital, presumably to unnerve people.

Per the New York Post, "A Welsh ghoul dressed as the 'Grim Reaper' has been busted after he climbed onto a hospital building's roof armed with what appeared to be a scythe and stared at doctors and patients." He was allegedly on his high perch for nearly an hour. The man reportedly "made noises" of some sort too.
Judging from a photo of this medical facility, it's an enormous, modern building. It was quite a feat for this person to climb it.
Gillespie Was Fined
The alleged culprit's name is Leon Gillespie. He is 26 years old. For his scary prank on June 6 at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd hospital, he received a fine of $269. Per the North Wales Pioneer, Gillespie's menacing hijinks drew quite a law enforcement presence. There were reportedly "at least four police cars." Responding were personnel from the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and the North Wales Police.
What He Was Charged With
The crime that Leon Gillespie was charged with was, according to the Pioneer, "causing a nuisance without reasonable excuse at NHS premises." Furthermore, the outlet claims that Gillespie allegedly owned up to other crimes as well. He allegedly swiped cat supplies from a store on March 26 and food and beverages from another establishment on May 28. Per the Post, those two infractions will also cost him $336.
Gillespie Was in Costume
Seems like he looked the part. Leon Gillespie had on a black getup outfitted with a hood and held a long blade. He allegedly claimed he was intending to resemble a bird. However, the effect was highly Grim Reaper-like instead.
The Health Board Addressed the Matter
According to the Post, "...Wales' largest health board, which manages the Ysbyty Glan Clwyd hospital - said it has a 'zero tolerance approach to abuse, aggression or nuisance within its hospital sites.'"
