The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers has opened up about his future, admitting he has questioned how much longer he wants to continue life as a touring musician.

The 45-year-old reflected on the challenges of the rock-star lifestyle, revealing he has recently been reassessing what truly makes him happy.
Flowers made the candid comments during an interview with The Sunday Times, published on Friday, July 31.

Flowers spoke honestly about stepping away from parts of his lifestyle, including alcohol, while reflecting on his current state of mind.
The singer lives in Utah with his wife, Tana, and their three sons.
"My dad goes to yard sales, where he buys frames to take home and paint. He's never had any money in his life and he's happier than I am," he said.
"I'm really going through it right now: how much longer do I want to do this, what does it mean, why am I doing it anyway?"
Flowers also revealed that he becomes ill after nearly every tour, prompting him to question what continues to drive him back onto the stage.
Reflecting on fellow rock legend Mick Jagger, he added: "What keeps him getting up on that stage? I guess it's because there are powerful moments in a concert. How could I not want to do that?"
Brandon Flowers Embraces His Country Roots
Flowers is currently promoting his third solo album, Thrasher, which marks a shift toward a country and western sound.
The Killers singer said the genre reflects the music he grew up with and his family's influence.
"It was my father's music," he said. "There would be country and western slow dances at school and at the golf course in Nephi, which was full of people who had left the Mormon church and now drank a lot; it was outlaw country."
"Then I'm reading Steinbeck, which leads me to Cormac McCarthy and western culture in general. Now, the older I get, the more I have gravitated towards being... I guess... my dad."
Thrasher is scheduled for release on Friday, August 21.
Following the album's release, Flowers will embark on a North American tour beginning September 1 in Phoenix, Arizona.
The run will conclude with two hometown performances in Las Vegas on October 5 and 6 before he heads to the United Kingdom for a nine-show tour, including a performance at London's Royal Albert Hall on October 15.
