Imagine the surprise when the 37,000 fans in attendance got a vacation for two.

Wait... Zac Brown Band Gave the Audience a Vacation?

Yesterday's concert marks the Zac Brown Band's 15th sellout show at the famous New England venue. So before its performance of "Same Boat," the group's frontman had an announcement to make.

"Tonight we're going to do something that even Jimmy [Buffett] would say is crazy," said Brown. "I'm buying every single person here a cruise for two people on the boat. This is the biggest giveaway in history, ladies and gentlemen, right here tonight at Fenway Park!"

As PEOPLE reports, the gift is worth at least $40 million. That breaks the record for the largest surprise audience gifting in live entertainment history.

"We were honored to work alongside Zac to help bring this incredible surprise to life for his fans," said Christopher Ivy, the CEO of Margaritaville at Sea, in a press release. "This was an extraordinary way to thank the fans who have supported him throughout his career, and we're proud to have helped make that incredible vision a once-in-a-lifetime reality."

Brown Broke Another Record

With yesterday's performance, Zac Brown Band now holds the record for the most tickets sold for a show at Fenway Park.

If you weren't at the concert in Boston yesterday, don't worry. At each date of the group's Love & Fear Tour this year, it is giving away four cruises aboard Margaritaville at Sea's new ship. Named Beachcomber, it is scheduled to set sail in January 2027.

The craft also boasts the "first-of-its-kind artist-curated live music venue at sea." Brown co-designed "Same Boat," obviously named for his song with the late, great Jimmy Buffett.

A statement described the performance space as "the ship's central live entertainment hub, blending Southern hospitality, premium acoustics, craft cocktails, and high-energy performances in a space personally curated by Brown to capture the feel of a front-row concert experience."
