The Carolina Panthers are all about making dreams come true.

The NFL franchise recently made six-year-old Asher Harvey an honorary member of the team. Asher was born with a heart anomaly; he will ultimately need to undergo a heart transplant. However, that didn't stop the Panthers from giving Asher one of the best days of his young life.
Asher 'signed' with the team just a day before entering the locker room, where he was greeted by some of his favorite players, and yes, his biggest heroes. Of course, those included Kenny Pickett and Bryce Young.
While at the Panthers facility, Asher was welcomed into a quarterback meeting. He got to sit in on the coaches and players discussing their approach. Then, he was welcomed onto the field, where Asher got to score his first touchdown in an NFL stadium.
"So many of these kids, all they know about whatever their medical condition is, is sad and heavy and frustrating and lonely," Ashley, Asher's mom, told the Panthers. "Asher, he loves to run, but he just can't run like everybody else. He would love to play football, but as he grows, his ability to keep up with his peers is just not going to be there."
Ashley continued by detailing just how special Asher's experience with the Panthers has been.
"So to be able to have this thing be a part of his memory, and we get to do it because his heart is special, it's different than everybody else's," she continued. "But because of that, we get to have this experience."
Panthers' Head Coach Dave Canales Praised Asher's Performance
During his post-practice news conference, Panthers' head coach Dave Canales praised Asher's performance.
"It was an automatic touchdown," Canales said. "They couldn't touch him. So, he walked it in there. It was a really special moment after a really nice drive by Kenny and the group."
Canales then continued his praise of the six-year-old.
"Did you see the explosion? He bounced it to the left, saw another angle," he continued. "He had three holes he could have scored in on that play, but he picked option number three and punched it in there."
Hopefully, Asher will look back on this day throughout the years to come and remember that despite his medical condition, he proved his greatness. Everyone needs to know they have something special inside of them, credit to the Panthers for showing Asher that.
