Rock Star Gives Heartbreaking Update on Missing Dad

The rock star posted a heartbreaking plea about his dad, who went missing. A heartbreaking update explained what happened.

Rock star Nathan James has given a heartbreaking update on his father. As reported by Page Six, Bill McGinley was reported missing in Colorado last week after he didn't return from a bike ride.

According to police, he was last seen at 8:40 am on Wednesday, July 29. He was "heading in the direction of Harper Lake and the Coyote Run trail."

At the time, the "Lost Angeles" rock star posted a heartbreaking plea on social media. It reads, "My dad, Bill McGinley, 72 years old, never returned from a normal bike ride this morning in Louisville Colorado."

"The cops have started an on-foot search & investigation. The bike he was riding was a specialized, white gravel [bike]." He went on to give a general description of what his dad was wearing at the time, as well as his location.

The post at the time continued with a heartbreaking description of their relationship. "He is my best friend," he lamented. "I talk to him on the phone 2-3 times a day, ever since I've had a phone. Please if you have the ability to look and are in the area, please help me find my dad. He means the world to me."

The Rock Star Posted a Heartbreaking Update

Police and volunteers set out on an intensive search. A few days after he posted the plea, dated 30th July, he gave a heartbreaking update.

"The police found him earlier today," he lamented. "And he's no longer with us. RIP to my dad, he was my best friend. I love him. I've been on an emotional rollercoaster ride like none other that I've ever been through."

The rock star went on to thank everyone involved in trying to find him. "I wanna thank everybody who helped me find him by sharing my posts and spreading awareness out there," he explained. "That helped tremedously."

He also told people to "tell the people you love that you f*** with them and you wanna see them do well, and you understand them, and you're there for them. My dad has gone home upstairs and... I love you dad."

What a tragic update. May he rest in peace.
