She endured a messy breakup with her first husband, record producer Robert "Mutt" Lange. However, Twain has settled down with someone who makes her ecstatic. They have been married since 2011.

Shania Twain, 60, told People, "This is the love I'm going to grow old with and it's a beautiful feeling." The "You're Still the One" singer explained, "I'm sure we'll always have romance, but there's a depth and a gratitude that I have about having this love. And if I [had] met Fred as a teenager, I do believe that he would have been my lifelong love even from then. It just takes sometimes years to find that person."

She Says He Is the "Greatest Talker"
If communication is the bedrock of a solid relationship, then these two have it made. Shania Twain claims the following, according to the outlet. "He's really good at reminding both of us that we have to keep communication open. He's the greatest talker, and he's not inhibited at all with expressing his feelings, which is really wonderful in a man. If you have a man that is really open and wants to keep the communication open, you're blessed as a woman."
She noted that Thiebaud is eager to talk out whatever issues they have. And she really loves that. "Fred wants to talk about it. He wants to talk it through, and he wants to fix it. And that's the best advice. I mean, he's not wrong."

Years ago, per People, Shania Twain's now-ex, "Mutt" Lange, was allegedly involved with Thiebaud's wife at the time, Marie-Anne, She was also Twain's friend back then. When Twain and Lange finally called it quits, the door was open for a new love for her. It happened to be Frederic Thiebaud. They are still going strong.
