30 Seconds to Mars frontman and actor Jared Leto has been accused of criminal sexual misconduct by four women.

On Wednesday, the BBC published a story after speaking with multiple women for the new BBC documentary, Jared Leto: Hollywood's Dark Secret. The four women accusing Leto of criminal sexual conduct claim the alleged offenses took place when they were all teenagers.
One of the women alleged she had underage sex with the actor at his California residence when she was 17, BBC reported, which could be classified as statutory rape. The age of consent in the state is 18.
According to the woman, the Suicide Squad actor "shrugged off" a conversation about the age gap, even though he was 34 at the time.
"It wasn't a huge concern for him," she claimed, per the outlet. "He told me, 'I would like you to call me daddy.' And it was either pretend to be a little girl or 'my little girl.'"
"It was only as time went on that I [realized] more and more how scary that really was," she added. The woman said that the incident occurred on her first of three or four visits to the star's home.
Several Women Accuse Jared Leto of Sexual Misconduct
The fourth woman describes being groomed by Leto. She alleges that, beginning when she was 16, the Hollywood star used his fame to woo her into explicit phone conversations. The woman said Leto also suggested having sex on at least one occasion.
She was subsequently sent a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to prevent her from talking about her relationship with Leto, which the BBC has seen. However, she refused to sign.
Four other women also stated that they had strange and sexual encounters with Leto when they were teens.
In one incident, Leto instructed security to invite a 14-year-old girl backstage after a concert. During an autograph signing, Leto made a lewd comment about her chest. The girl's mother confronted Leto, but he repeated the comment, it is alleged.
Overall, 10 women spoke out against the actor in the BBC documentary. Each incident cited in the documentary occurred between 2002 and 2016, when he was in his 30s and 40s. He is now 54.
