Over the years, Romo has been a consistent participant in the annual tournament. Following his recent DUI arrest, though, the four-time Pro Bowl selection is taking a break from the green.
Due to his withdrawal, the scheduled Q&A for Monday has been canceled, a spokesperson for the country club wrote in an email.
"Although we're disappointed he won't be joining us, we're still looking forward to an exciting week of competitive golf," the email read.

CBS Has Yet to Announce Whether Tony Romo Will Face Punishment
It is unclear whether he will face punishment from CBS for his DUI arrest.
Romo has been a color analyst for the NFL broadcast team on CBS since 2017.
He is currently in the middle of a 10-year, $180 million contract extension that he signed in 2020.
Before his days in the booth, Romo spent his entire 13-year NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys.
The former Eastern Illinois standout is considered one of the most accomplished undrafted players in NFL history.
Romo became the Cowboys' starting quarterback in 2006, two years after going undrafted in 2004.
He led the Cowboys to four playoff appearances, although they never advanced beyond the divisional round. He was selected to the 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2014 Pro Bowl teams.
Romo finished his Cowboys career as the franchise leader in passing yards (34,183), touchdowns (248) and winning drives. Romo's 30 game-winning drives are seven better than fellow Cowboys legend Roger Staubach and nine more than Troy Aikman.
