Country Star Cancels Tour Dates Without Giving a Reason, Leaving Fans Baffled

The country star didn't give any information as to why the tour dates got cancelled. Ticketmaster announced the sad news.

Everyone hates it when a tour they really wanted to go to gets cancelled. Even more so when it's not even the whole tour—just the tickets they'd booked.

But there's usually a very good reason. Whether it's wildfires causing dangerous smoke levels, or health complications that just can't be avoided, most people are very reasonable when things go wrong.

However, if there's no reason as to why tour dates got cancelled, it leaves people hanging with more questions than they have answers to. And that's what happened with Kacey Musgraves and her Middle of Nowhere tour.

As reported by Taste of Country, three dates have been scrubbed off her tour. They are August 20's Chicago show at the United Center, August 29's Boston show at TD Garden, and finally September 2's Brooklyn, New York show at the Barclays Center.

Ticketmaster announced the tour date cancellations, rather than Kacey Musgraves herself. If you were to go and try to buy tickets for these dates, you'll instead be met with a pretty sad message:

"Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event."

"You don't need to do a thing. We'll issue a refund to the original method of payment used at time of purchase, as soon as funds are received from the Event Organizer. It should appear on your account within 14-21 days."

The Tour Cancellations Haven't Been Explained

There's been no word about the cancellations from Kacey Musgraves nor her team.

Per TMZ, she is reportedly in good health, meaning that isn't likely a factor in the cancellations. They reported that the issue was tied to scheduling conflicts. But there's been no official word as of yet, so this isn't concrete.

In any case, the country star is still set to perform at the vast majority of her scheduled shows. It kicks off on August 21, which is her birthday.

She recently announced an extension to the tour, which is where these three dates originated. It is unclear whether any more dates will be cancelled or whether these are the only three affected.

We hope she's okay and that fans who would have missed her get to see her soon!
