Grammy Award-winning singer Chris Brown has once again found himself in legal trouble.

On Friday, the 37-year-old pleaded guilty to a charge of affray over an alleged bottle attack on a music producer at a London nightclub.
Brown's friend and vocal coach, Omololu Akinlolu, 40, also pleaded guilty to the same charge.
Several more serious charges were dropped, including attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm against music producer Abraham Diaw.
Singer Could Face Jail After Guilty Plea
The incident took place at Tape nightclub in London in February 2023.
Brown and Akinlolu appeared at Southwark Crown Court on July 24, where they spoke only to confirm their identities and enter their guilty pleas.
The pair admitted that they "used or threatened unlawful violence towards another and their conduct taken together was such as would cause a person of reasonable firmness ... to fear for their personal safety".
Prosecutor Heidi Stonecliffe confirmed that the remaining charges would not proceed to trial.
Brown and Akinlolu were granted bail and are due to return to Southwark Crown Court on October 26 for sentencing.
A conviction for affray carries a maximum sentence of three years in prison.
Judge Tony Baumgartner said that "all options" would remain open to the court.
Prosecutors Allege Brown Launched 'Unprovoked Attack'
Prosecutors allege that Brown launched an "unprovoked attack" on Diaw using a tequila bottle.
According to the prosecution, Diaw attempted to flee the scene, but Brown and Akinlolu continued the alleged assault.
"This was a vicious and unprovoked attack by Brown and Akinlolu in a crowded nightclub where Brown used a glass bottle as a weapon to strike the victim's head twice," Claire Campbell from the Crown Prosecution Service said.
"This kind of violence is entirely unacceptable, and the Crown Prosecution Service will work tirelessly - with ?the police and partners across the criminal justice system - to pursue cases like this, and prove that no one is above the law."
Brown was arrested in May 2025 after returning to Britain for the first time since the alleged incident.
He was initially denied bail, placing his Breezy Bowl XX world tour in doubt.
However, the UK leg of the tour went ahead, with Brown performing in Manchester, London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, and Dublin.
Across two shows at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Brown performed in front of a reported 96,000 fans.
