It's been exactly one year since Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22, 2025. To mark the first anniversary of his passing, his daughter, Kelly Osbourne, has posted a touching tribute on her Instagram page.

"One year ago today, the world changed forever," she wrote. "Today I sit beside you in a way I never thought would be possible. I know you are still with me. I feel you in the quiet, in the wind, in every song that stops me in my tracks. It's the smell of your cologne and in every moment that the love outweighs the grief. You are all around me."
Kelly's post, which is in the form of a letter, then continues by noting how she misses being able to hug and hold her father.
"The hardest part isn't that you're gone. The hardest part is that I can't touch you. I can't hold your hand, I can't wrap my arms around you or feel the safety that only you could give me, and I always thought life was hard, but life without you has been the hardest thing I have ever had to endure."
Kelly then ended her note to her father by reiterating the amount of love and respect she had, and still holds for him.
"I have never loved anyone or anything as deeply, as uniquely as I love you. And now I carry all of that love with nowhere to place it except within me, my son, and mumma. It aches every single day, but it is also the greatest privilege of my life. To have loved someone so completely," she explained.
Ozzy Osbourne Will Be Honored With "Ozzy Day" in His Hometown
Rather than mourning the "Prince Of Darkness," Ozzy's hometown of Birmingham, England, has decided to celebrate his life. The city announced that it will be holding "Ozzy Day" on Wednesday, July 22.
"Taking place across Birmingham city centre, visitors will be invited to explore the places that helped shape Ozzy's story, with activity at the Black Sabbath Bench and Bridge, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, Birmingham New Street Station, Bullring, Selfridges and Martineau Place," local outlet, Birmingham Live reports.
The event is expected to span the entire day and welcome tens of thousands of visitors. It's a touching tribute to a hometown hero, and one his family will likely welcome.
